Adapt Demonstrators walking or in wheelchairs carry signs as they to to the meeting. See story below.

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) presented Disabled Sports USA (DS/USA) with the first installment of a $200,000 grant at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., while announcing a partnership to provide a year-long sports and recreation program for soldiers who were severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The program will provide all basic expenses including airfare, lodging, ground transportation, adaptive equipment, instructors and meals. Bob Costas, Dan Marino, Chris Carter and Chris Collinsworth from HBO’s “Inside the NFL” were in attendance to celebrate the partnership. The players also paid a visit to injured soldiers in the occupational therapy clinic. Marino is seen here with some of the soldiers.
