Applications are now open for EmpowHer Camp 2027, a transformative, year-long mentorship, empowerment, and skill-building program for disabled young women and feminine-aligned youth ages 13–18.

Applications close February 18.

EmpowHer Camp offers a unique opportunity for participants to build confidence, leadership, and independent-living skills while connecting with peers and experienced disabled women mentors, according to the organization that runs the program, Disability EmpowHer Network which is based in Rochester.

The Network is dedicated to empowering girls and women with disabilities through mentorship, leadership development, and transformational learning experiences that support confidence, independence, and success in all areas of life.

Throughout the year, participants begin with a wilderness camping experience, work on a personalized community project with ongoing mentor support and conclude their journey with a leadership trip to Washington, D.C. that celebrates their growth and advocacy.

EmpowHer Camp welcomes applications from disabled girls and feminine-aligned youth between the ages of 13 and 18. Applicants older than 18 who are still in high school are also eligible. The program is inclusive of all types of disabilities.
