The NYC DOT will host a transportation resource fair at Union Square Park, North Plaza in Manhattan where information on transportation services and accessibility programs in New York City will be shared. This free event is specifically for people with disabilities, older adults, caregivers, and family members, but all are welcome. Those who attend will be able to learn about transportation options, connect with service providers, and experience emerging accessibility technologies. There will also be opportunities to connect with organizations that support independent travel. The event will feature live demonstrations and cultural programming, including music performances, chair yoga, activities for kids, and more!
The event will be held rain or shine. Registration is not required. ASL interpreters and sighted guides will be available.
