October 18, 2026

(In-person)

Join Disability Pride NYC for the 2026 Disability Pride NYC Parade, with the route leading from Madison Square Park to Union Square Park.

The Parade is a free, community-centered celebration of disability pride and inclusion. This year’s theme is “Together We Build” and the event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the historic 504 Sit-in.

The Parade is presented by Disability Pride NYC, with the New York City Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities as a co-sponsor.  Brief opening remarks will be livestreamed with CART, ASL interpretation, and audio description at www.disabilityunite.org.

Participants can march, table, and/or volunteer, while spectators are welcome to attend without registering. The event will also feature a Disability Pride Block Party at Union Square. The Parade is accessible, with wheelchair-accessible portable restrooms available at both the start and end of the route and water available at Union Square. Public transportation.

Participants and those who want to table must register in advance.
