Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI), a leading Long Island care provider for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, announced the launch of its first ever podcast, The [EYE] on Autism Podcast.
Hosted by Dr. Michael Romas, clinical psychologist and former radio host of DDI on Autism, the monthly podcast provides a platform to explore issues and perspectives that matter to the families, professionals and communities DDI serves. Each episode will feature in-depth conversations with experts, practitioners, and thought leaders in the field of developmental disabilities.
The premiere episode “Back to School,” highlighted strategies and insights for supporting children and families during the school transition period. Guests included Erika Villaherrera, Coordinator of Educational Services, and Rana Babury, Project Coordinator, who bring decades of combined experience to the discussion.
