Join a Disabilities Forum moderated by Christopher Alvarez of Able News, featuring candidates and leaders connected to the NY-07 Democratic Primary. Speakers include Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, City Council Member for District 26, State Assembly Member for District 37 Vichal Kumar, and public defender and civil rights attorney Claire Valdez.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. This is a hybrid event, available both via Zoom and in person at the CUNY School of Law, located at 2 Court Square in Long Island City, New York (at 44th Drive and Hunter Street). The venue is accessible by subway, including nearby stations such as Court Square–23rd Street (7, E, G, F trains) and Queens Plaza (7, N, W, E, R trains).
Accessibility is a priority for this event. ASL interpretation and CART captioning will be provided. Attendees using CART in English will also be able to access AI-supported translations in Arabic, Bengali, and Spanish. When registering, participants are encouraged to share any additional access needs so organizers can do their best to accommodate all requests.
