makemake presents: Opera Praktikos’ La Sonnambula at National Sawdust, 80 N 6th Street, Brooklyn. Opera Praktikos (OPrak) formed in 2022, is a disability-affirmative company presenting a genre of opera that is interabled and champions disability-artistry as a creative force in the field. Opera Praktikos transforms Bellini & Romani's La Sonnambula (The Sleepwalker) into a richly integrated experience where spoken, sung, and signed languages become one expressive whole.
