On Pal-O-Mine’s scenic 13-acre farm in Islandia, visitors to its Winter Wonderland can meet horses, sheep, donkeys, and miniature horses, explore holiday displays, enjoy storybook readings, outdoor movies, seasonal music, hot chocolate and treats, a festival of trees, a gift shop, family photo ops, and even special guests from the North Pole. Pal-O-Mine Equestrian began in 1995 as a therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. The farm is located at 829 Old Nichols Road, Islandia.
